Our perception of Jesus is fundamental to a victorious walk. Any attempt to know God outside of the Son is futile... and to know Jesus outside of the Father leads to confusion. 

The Father reveals the Son and the Son reveals the Father. God has revealed His son to us. God's ways are past finding out. No amount of academic research can reveal the Father. 

The revelation of the Father has been given to us as a gift. We have received the the Holy Spirit so we can know the mind of the Father and the things that are freely given to us. 

Not in our emotions, experiences or excitements... it is only in the revelation of Christ that we find our own identity. The believer is defined in the knowledge of Christ.
